Playa Real is a Mexican real estate company owned by Vicky Fernandez, who's been in the area for over 30 years. One of Cancun's pioneers, she first moved to Cancun 30 years ago, when it was little more than a jungle. This early arrival to Cancun allowed her to participate in Cancun's rapid growth. Her real estate experience goes back to the beginnings of a project known as Puerto Aventuras, where much property was sold during its pre-construction stage.

Following the development and growth of the region, she moved to Playa del Carmen 14 years ago. One year later, she started Playa Real, one of the first real estate offices in Playa del Carmen. Playa Real has been operating ever since and is known throughout the area as a serious company.

Building on this experience selling real estate in Mexico's Riviera Maya (the northern section of the Mexican Caribbean coast), Playa Real has spent several years researching and developing real estate opportunities further south. The most affordable beachfront property in the area can now be found in Costa Maya, near Mahahual and Xcalak. The Costa Maya is the perfect place to buy real estate for investment or for a private home on a quiet beach.
